As Zoe Osama continues heating up the current LA rap market, his most recent EP titled Big Deal, consisting of a brief 6 tracks, sonically has a much bigger presence. The emcee translates a heavy west coast essence as he embraces the familiar and appreciated bravado of LA rap artists. His one of a kind voice texture and style of lyricism allows Zoe Osama to continue carving out the foundation of his unique sound, especially on this particular piece of work. From the notable cover art featuring the late, Great Los Angeles rap legend Nipsey Hussle, to the references used on several tracks throughout the EP, Big Deal has been well received by his audience and the EP reflects the upbeat, in-your-face tone and style of his artistry.
Tracks like Hold on (Freestyle) and Jiggin’ especially stand out due to the apparent sampled references, along with the heavy sound that further asserts the way he approaches a track.
