Valleyboy comes at it again with his third series of “Changed”. The album was dropped April 18th. The more I listen to it, the more I can hear his range of emotions. He brings out 10 songs that paint a great picture of everything he raps about to the listeners’ head. Valleyboy brings his audience into a rollercoaster of emotions, but the ending to his ride leaves you wanting more.
What I like most about Changed 3 is that Valleyboy stays consistent to his previous music. For example, he brings out part two of “IMY” and “Poppin’ Now 2 (Freestyle) [feat. T-Gunna]”. I liked that he continued with creating a second part to those songs. What I appreciate the most is that Valleyboy grabbed one song from each of his previous Changed albums to continue the message.
Valleyboy did a great job bringing out the deep songs. But make no mistake, he has songs to bring out listeners’ ego. “What You Sayin’? (feat. Baller ROB)” is the great start to the songs that combine a great rhythm and memorable chorus. Baller ROB comes in as a feature and definately leaves his mark in the album. “Nasty Mind (feat. Pg. Spilz & Papablanko)” is one of my favorite songs of the album. It is so catchy and so dirty that listeners should immediately fall in love with it. Another catchy song that I can see becoming very popular is his “Poppin’ Now 2 (Freestyle) [feat. T-Gunna]”. He flows so perfectly to the song and he elevates his lyrics with each “OH”.
Each artist that featured in Changed 3 added their spice that made each featured song another level of great. Each artist showed off their talents and really aced the song that they collaborated with Valleyboy.
Changed 3 is a great album to listen to from start to finish. If you’ve been a fan of Valleyboy and have heard all his Changed albums, then you know he is only getting better with each flow he spits. Will his fans have a Changed 4? Well, we are just going to have to wait and see. . . But we are crossing our fingers he does.
