They Call Me P.Y.T released her EP, Pearl Hart. P.Y.T has five songs and an interlude on the mixtape. She gave listeners a range of sounds. Within each song, her boss attitude and her winning mentality are presented. Meaning that she’s definitely here to stay.
Her third song, Doze, even starts off with her talking to herself about setting her priorities straight. She needs to focus because she’s on a “money making mission”. She is tunnel-visioned on getting where she needs to be. By hearing her hunger-like passion in making her dreams reality, she lets listeners do the same for theirs.
The Pandemic is ending at the start of Hot Girl Summer, meaning that everyone is ready to get wild. P.Y.T’s, Hittin’ 4, is the perfect song to dance to and begin a party. I mean her very first verse after the chorus starts off with “fuck being modest, listen I’m that bitch…” should really just be the phrase that everyone uses this summer. This song is so fun and confident, everything we need to hear and feel in order to have a great post-Pandemic summer. They Call Me P.Y.T is coming, and she’s not stopping anytime soon.
