Sham1016 (Everybody’s Enemy)

Written By : DEE

On March 12 Sham1016 released his second album, “Everybody’s Enemy”, expanding his talent and sound. “Everybody’s Enemy” helps listeners create a vivid daydream of everything Sham1016 is rapping. He brings you into his world and leaves you wanting more. The album consists of 13 songs that transcend you to each of them.

What is most noticeable about Sham1016 is that his sound is never the same. There are some songs that have and R&B sound. Other songs have that more of the gangster Hip-Hop sound. He sounds comfortable changing up the tone and sound. As a listener, you never get bored.

Sham1016 brings some collaborators from his previous album. Airplane James returns to feature in Sham1016’s fifth song, “ATBO (Air This Bitch Out)”. He also brings out other collaborators like Zyah Belle, Brent Urbn, KB Devaughn, Cheyenne Wright, Wray, Committee Sounds and Emani.

Some of the best songs out of the 30 minute album are “Internet Bangers”, “Mean It” and “Blue Roses”. “Internet Bangers” creates the feel of  that Hip-Hop grit. The ego he has, and how he exposes some of the fakeness that goes on around him from those who are trying to seek Instagram validation. “Mean It” is the topic of love and the conversations that go along with it. “Don’t temp me if you don’t mean it” is definitely a memorable line. “Blue Roses” uncovers the honesty and truth of his life and how he plans to persevere.

Overall, “Everybody’s Enemy” is an excellent album. You can only imagine what he will have in store for us next.
