Ruggo-Home 4 Now

Growth in persona births Ruggos H4N

Industry moves open the door to revenue-consciousness for the young veteran.

Sylmar California is locally known for a lot of reasons. House parties that are overly turnt and horses damn near on the freeway to name a few. Home of the largest narcotics seizure in California in the 80s (of all times), Sylmar is a city where residents get it out the mud. This is the realm that created Ruggo, who gained recognization in the industry as a preteen by using streets smarts to be in the right place at the right time. That doesn’t happen by accident, and with the right guidance, Ruggo is looking to be a staple for 818’s rap culture. For the young artist with motion in the business, his latest project Home 4 Now illustrates Ruggo’s ‘birds eye’ view of the game.

Ruggo drew comparisons to Jack Harlow in earlier phases of his career, but stylistically Home 4 Now carries more of a West-Coast party rap style with grittier themes. The flow closer resembles hints of Shoreline Mafia and Nipsey Hustle; either leaning into energetic trap beats or survivor stories bred from making plays on his local block, Foothill Avenue.

The moves don’t end in the street for the seasoned vet in his early 20s. Connecting with the music distribution and direct-to-fan platform Even.Biz, Ruggo has rolled out Home 4 Now with exclusive merchandise – including clothing, CD and vinyl release. Huge artist such as Coast Contra, French Montana, and Joey Bada$$ have shifted to this outlet over traditional services. Ruggo also released his newest project on the streaming services we’re more accustomed to like Apple Music and Spotify, but the use of Even.Biz shows that veteran experience of staying ahead of the curb.

Being over 10 years deep in the rap industry at the age of 22 is a wild concept. Ruggo has done so, and he’s looking to put his grasp on more than the streets of Sylmar. Stream Home 4 Now on Even.Biz, Tidal, Apple Music and Spotify with exclusive merchandise on Even.Biz.
