Rodney J. Brown, uniquely known as RjmrLA, is a hip-hop artist hailing from South Central LA.
Rj’s unmistakable voice and signature sound made a huge impact on his native LA streets as well as
other surrounding cities. Debuting in 2013, Rj made appearances on projects by both Yg and Mustard,
and was able to connect with large, mainstream audiences early on in his career. Since then, he hit the
ground running and had the LA music scene on lock with hit singles, “Get rich”, “Ride with me”,
“Hennebeeto”, and “Dance with me” featuring Dom Kennedy, amongst countless others.
RjmrLA’s new album titled “Let me talk my shit”, is an undeniable body of work. One that truly,
hence the title, is making a clear statement as to who he is, where his sound is, and the wave he has
been on. Appearances from 1takeJay, Joe Moses, Rucci, Yelohill, Bree Carter and Bino Rideaux, plus
more, work well to bring us that statement along with the big summer, feel good vibe. Go stream Rj’s
“Let me talk my shit” now, and let him do just that!
