Los Angeles Native and Diamond Lane artist Airplane James has been creating empowering visuals and songs with his wise lyrics at hand. In his song “Brown” James takes us on an excursion through Black and Brown Los Angeles, giving us b-move of dynamic mobs and common fights, just as appearances from excellent Black and Hispanic figures.
In his latest song titled “700 Horsepower”Airplane James takes us on a ride as he tries to get some quick cash. In the video he tries to sale a 2003 Corolla, in which others see it as a “Bucket” but he says it’s perfectly fine. He raps about always being the person who has wanted to succeed and get money, and as he rides around in his nice cars we can see that this is indeed a fact.
