Griff Tyler’s most recent release titled Wish You Well is a quick, yet thorough EP released in January of 2023. This time around, he continues to demonstrate how well his voice compliments each beat he selects. Although the gravity pull toward acoustic foundation is recognized, Griff’s writing style creates a sense of versatility in the context of each song. This Wish You Well EP sounds as if it could be the follow-up to his previous project Played to the Left. The last body of work had an intimate, vulnerable essence whereas Wish You Well feels much brighter and more confident as he embraces his promising future.
As Griff Tyler communicates his style of connecting to his female audience on beats that are flirty and fun, each listener should note Griff’s knowledge of his craft referencing early 2000’s hits and flipping them into his own.
