Los Angeles Mid-City own Reem Riches, is a well-known rap artist who has played a huge part in laying the foundation of LA’s hip-hop sound since the early 2010’s. He has collaborated with countless west coast creatives over the years. Examples such as YG, TeeCee, RJ, Ty Dolla Sign and Mustard to name a few, goes to show the amount of weight and respect his name alone truly carries. Though Reem had to go to prison 2 years ago, he stated in his interview with us that his time inside gave him the opportunity to grow closer to God, grow and strengthen healthier habits, and dive deeper into his music craft. Fortunately, during that time, platinum super producer and 10 Summers’ very own Larry Jay, reached out to Reem and sparked a promising professional relationship. Larry stated with us that as a previous fan of Reem’s, as well as being introduced to each other through a mutual friend in the industry, Larry was moved to make it a must to give Reem the 1st opportunity to work and get back to his grind right after his release. With Larry’s undeniable ability to create countless hits, along with Reem’s prominent pen game, the two were able to formulate the highly anticipated album, “MakinAllTheRichHits”.
The two stated that the unique title is a combination of the rapper’s stage name along with the producer’s slogan and producer-tag, “MakinAllTheHits”. The project is a clear representation of the authenticity, versatility, and true creative compatibility between the pair. Tracks like hit single “Hot Shyt” feat. RJ and “Ain’t Picky” feat. Choice, give you the turn up, high energy and feel-good frame of mind. While you’re able to chill, vibe out, and even roll up or pour up to “Percocet 2” feat. RJ, and “Feels good”.
